I snatched up this little monster off of eBay. Some music instructor in California was letting his/her student(s) yank the plug out of the wall by the cord, so the shielding has detached from the plug. An easy fix. Aside from that, plus a moderate collection of dust on the surface and a couple of minor dings, this amp is in great shape. And that's really all I need.
I managed to plug it in for the first time and play through it without electrocuting myself. The Gain was at 3, the Volume at a scant 1, the tone dials were in their usual spots, and the Ultra-Low boost switch was on. That was enough to rattle the windows. All I need now is a willing ladyfriend to help me set the controls for "Oh God!" and the pits of Hell will open up once I start playing it at club volume.

I finally got around to replacing the plug on this amp’s power cable. As an added bonus, I did not electrocute myself.
